Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here General Manager - Troy, NY A respected hospitality group is seeking a polished and experienced General Manager to lead operations at a well-performing select-service hotel in Troy, NY. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact at a stable property with a tight-knit team and a history of internal promotions. General Manager Benefits & Compensation $100,000-$110,000 base salary 30% annual performance bonus potential Relocation support Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Supportive culture with growth and advancement opportunities General Manager Requirements & Qualifications Significant tenure in prior roles; no companies less than 2 years tenure Marriott select-service experience required 3-5+ years hotel GM experience ; must be comfortable presenting to ownership weekly Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred Consistently professional appearance, high grooming standards, and confident presentation skills Strong owner relations and guest service orientation General Manager Preferred Background & Skills Demonstrated success leading 100+ room properties Experience working directly with property management groups on owner priorities Track record of improving guest satisfaction scores and financial performance General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead and mentor a core team including the AGM, housekeeping manager, and chief engineer Oversee all hotel operations, maintaining high standards for guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and team performance Meet weekly with the property owner to review performance metrics, financials, and initiatives Develop sales strategies and foster community relationships to drive business growth Ensure compliance with all brand, company, and regulatory standards Oversee budget administration, payroll, purchasing, and inventory management This is an ideal role for a driven, visible leader who takes pride in excellence and thrives on accountability.
