Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this role, you will oversee daily operations at the front desk of our vibrant hotel or resort, coordinate guest services, and maintain smooth communication between departments. Your leadership will set the tone for a welcoming environment, ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to from check-in to check-out. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hospitality professionals who thrive in fast-paced settings and are passionate about delivering top-tier customer service. Responsibilities Supervise the front desk team, providing training, support, and motivation to ensure high standards of guest service. Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a positive attitude and prompt resolution. Oversee night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure data accuracy. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs swiftly. Maintain multi-line phone systems, answer calls with excellent phone etiquette, and direct inquiries appropriately. Support multilingual guests by providing bilingual or multilingual assistance to enhance their experience. Uphold hospitality management standards by ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Assist in managing reservations, room assignments, and billing processes to optimize occupancy and revenue. Foster guest relations by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles, especially at the front desk or guest services. Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively. Familiarity with hotel management software, multi-line phone systems, and night audit procedures. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities. Previous hotel experience in a supervisory role is advantageous. Knowledge of resort operations or large-scale hospitality environments is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
