Job description Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated General Manager for Creekside Pet Center to lead our vibrant team and ensure exceptional care and service for our canine guests. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, maintain high standards of animal care, and create a welcoming environment for pet owners. Your leadership will drive the success of the resort by fostering a positive team culture, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Responsibilities Oversee all daily operations of the dog resort, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and overall facility management Lead and motivate staff members in providing top-tier pet care, grooming, training, and customer service Ensure compliance with animal handling procedures, restraint protocols, and safety standards to guarantee the well-being of dogs and staff Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and training programs to maintain efficient and effective team performance Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the facility Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and foster positive relationships with pet owners Coordinate veterinary care or veterinary technician services when needed to support health and wellness initiatives Requirements Proven experience in dog handling, pet grooming, pet sitting or animal care roles such as veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or dog boarding Strong knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management Experience with kennel operations or animal shelter management is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly to handle supplies or assist with dogs as needed Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and proper pet care procedures Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required by the resort schedule Join us in creating a joyful environment where dogs feel loved and cared for while providing exceptional service to pet owners.
