The manager will oversee guest service operations to include: hiring, training and scheduling of staff. The manager must ensure a clean and safe facility by following all City of Garland, state and local protocols and laws.

Pay:

$16.50/hr. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned . Take a proactive role in ensuring guest satisfaction. Supervise employees to carry out job functions. Assist teaching pre-season training sessions. Oversee hiring, training and scheduling of facility guest service staff. Conduct effective shift briefings and trainings. Train and develop team to deliver excellent guest service. Oversee the implementation of standards as outlined in the standard operating procedures. Maintain a safe and organized work area and facility. Participate in regularly scheduled trainings. Oversee inventory and stock room organization. Oversee party/pavilion rentals to include set up and take down of tables and chairs. Welcome every guest with a smile and make eye contact while assisting them with their transactions or questions. Ensure all City of Garland Cash Handling Procedures are followed. Assist with guest safety in the event of an emergency. Promptly respond to guest concerns to ensure quality guest experiences. Maintain an inviting work environment by inspiring others with enthusiasm and positivity. Maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance. Minimum Qualifications Must be 17 years old on opening day of the aquatic facilities. Must have at least two years guest service experience. Must have reliable means of transportation to and from the workplace. Preferred Qualifications Three years of guest service experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of programs and activities at the aquatics facility Knowledge of basic aquatic facility procedures Licenses and Certifications Food Handlers License. Food Manager License by the first day of opening.
