Hotel Accounting Manager/Sr. Staff Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Staff Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our hospitality properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and support the overall success of our hotels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality finance, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounting functions related to hotel operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and hotel policies
  • Supervise accounting staff, providing training and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely completion
  • Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses to optimize financial performance
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard hotel assets

Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Proven experience in hotel or hospitality accounting management
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and hotel operations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective leadership and communication abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and high level of integrity
