Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily hotel operations, managing staff, and driving revenue growth while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. As the face of the hotel, you will inspire your team to deliver memorable stays and foster positive guest relations, all while managing operational efficiency and financial performance. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance, ensuring smooth daily operations. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue management opportunities, including room rates, occupancy levels, and ancillary services. Oversee guest services to ensure a high level of satisfaction through personalized attention, efficient check-in/out processes, and prompt resolution of guest concerns. Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated and professional team. Maintain budgetary controls by monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and ensuring adherence to financial targets. Oversee front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette to provide seamless communication with guests and vendors. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards while fostering a positive work environment rooted in hospitality excellence. Conduct regular night audits to verify financial accuracy and prepare reports for senior management. Cultivate strong guest relations by actively engaging with visitors, addressing feedback promptly, and creating a welcoming resort atmosphere. Implement effective human resources practices that promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments. Experience Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management setting. Extensive hotel experience with comprehensive knowledge of hotel management operations including guest services, front desk procedures, and resort amenities. Strong background in revenue management strategies aimed at optimizing occupancy rates and profitability. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control measures to ensure operational efficiency. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse guests. Familiarity with human resources practices such as staffing, training programs, employee relations, and compliance standards. Knowledge of night audit procedures along with proficiency in multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is preferred.
