Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning and sanitation teams in delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and maintain a welcoming environment for all visitors and residents. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning operations across all areas. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and sanitation protocols to maintain consistent service quality. Monitor cleaning tasks, conduct inspections, and provide feedback to uphold cleanliness standards aligned with industry best practices. Manage scheduling, assign duties, and oversee staff performance to optimize team productivity and morale. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to custodial work, industrial cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, laundry services, and equipment maintenance to support seamless operations. Address guest or resident concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service while resolving any issues related to cleanliness or housekeeping services. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with supervisory responsibilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff toward shared goals. Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices within commercial or hospitality environments. Excellent communication skills suitable for managerial interactions with staff, vendors, and guests. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties including lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment. Prior experience in managing laundry services or hospitality-related housekeeping operations is preferred. Demonstrated ability to implement management strategies that improve team performance and service quality.
