Benefits package, PTO, and additional employee benefits I am hiring on behalf of a luxury property in Menlo Park, California, seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Housekeeping to support the overall housekeeping operation and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service. The Assistant Director of Housekeeping will work closely with the Director of Housekeeping to oversee daily operations, lead and develop the housekeeping team, and ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet luxury hospitality standards. This individual will also take responsibility for the department in the Director's absence.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Director of Housekeeping with the day-to-day operation of the department. Supervise, coach, and develop housekeeping supervisors and associates. Ensure guest rooms, suites, and public areas meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards. Conduct regular inspections and follow up on quality and service standards. Assist with scheduling, staffing, payroll, and departmental administration. Oversee room assignments and coordinate closely with Front Office and other operational departments. Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, uniforms, and inventory. Assist with training and onboarding of new team members. Respond to guest requests and ensure appropriate follow-up. Assume leadership of the housekeeping operation when the Director is unavailable.

Requirements:

Previous supervisory or management experience within a luxury or upscale hotel environment. Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and luxury service standards. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team. Strong organizational and communication skills. Spanish-speaking ability is required. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays when required. High level of attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction. #INDWC
