Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Executive Housekeeping Manager for the Residence Inn, Redondo Beach, CA. About the
Proven experience in a housekeeping or cleaning supervisory role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Certification in housekeeping management or related field.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance.
Experience with Marriott cleaning standards.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and address any issues promptly.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
Provide training and support to housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees.
Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.
Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays
Role:
The Housekeeping Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of facilities. This position ensures that all areas are not only clean but also organized and presentable, reflecting the professionalism of the organization. The Housekeeping Manager will oversee a team of housekeeping staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards are met consistently. Additionally, this role involves managing inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for daily operations.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in a housekeeping or cleaning supervisory role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the hotels industry.Certification in housekeeping management or related field.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance.
Experience with Marriott cleaning standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of all facilities.Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
