In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of cleaning operations, ensuring that every space meets the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team to perform cleaning duties efficiently and effectively across all areas of the property. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and standards aligned with industry best practices. Oversee daily cleaning operations, including floor care, surface sanitation, laundry services, and waste management. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are consistently met or exceeded. Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to ensure operational readiness. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles with a strong background in janitorial and industrial cleaning. Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, surface sanitation, and specialized hospitality cleaning procedures. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service excellence. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to train staff and coordinate with other departments effectively.
