Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility, while also leading and managing a team of housekeeping staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a hospitality environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in industrial cleaning and custodial services. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while meeting the needs of the facility. Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel or hospitality setting. Qualifications Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within the hospitality or hotel industry. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, floor care, and custodial practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and guests.
