Job Description

Roaring Fork Senior Living, Glenwood Spring's premier senior living community, is seeking an organized, proactive, and self-motivated Environmental Services Director to join our leadership team. The Environmental Services Director oversees all aspects of building and grounds maintenance, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role also provides leadership and direction to the maintenance and housekeeping teams. Duties and Responsibilities:
Directs the community maintenance and housekeeping staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds, inspecting the completed work to ensure it meets community standards Implements preventative maintenance programs and coordinates compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, SDS, OSHA, and EPA regulations as well as fire codes Coordinates annual apartment maintenance schedule and completion. Oversees necessary repairs and maintenance in apartments and common areas including refurbishment for move-ins Prepares and follows approved budget, including tracking utility consumption and expense files Maintain inventory control for all general supplies, parts and equipment for necessary repairs and maintenance Responds appropriately to resident or community emergencies by assisting as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience working in Environmental Services or building maintenance Financial knowledge for proper budgeting and cost containment in an organization Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required for interacting with residents, guests, and fellow associates Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and the fact that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed
Pay:
$72,000 to $77,000 annual salary based on experience
