Full Job Description Description:
Job Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor assists in supervising housekeeping operations and team members. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for establishing a positive work environment, delivering exceptional guest service and administering policies and procedures established by the company and the hotel brand. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all duties of a Housekeeping Attendant Ensures all guests are provided superior room and public area cleanliness Assists in supervising housekeeping team members with efforts relating to recruitment, orientation, training, scheduling, performance management, counseling and other team member relations issues Ensures the compliance of health and safety standards Assists with monitoring and upholding procedures for control of supplies and keys Maintains knowledge, skills, and abilities needed?to perform any position in the department Maintains accurate lost and found log and upholds related policies and procedures Handles chemicals and cleaning supplies with care and in accordance to standards Operates commercial laundry and cleaning equipment Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
