Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, ensuring all standards are met or exceeded. Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high levels of efficiency and professionalism. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to optimize productivity. Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to ensure availability and proper usage. Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and hazardous materials handling. Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to address guest requests or facility issues promptly. Requirements Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry operations, and janitorial best practices. Demonstrated management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is essential. Leadership qualities including excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach. Prior experience in housekeeping management or housekeeper supervision is a plus.
