Job Description
Q CASINO + RESORT HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR BASIC FUNCTION
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily housekeeping operations for assigned areas within Q Casino + Resort. This position ensures guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and maintained in accordance with brand standards and company expectations. The Housekeeping Supervisor conducts room inspections, assigns and monitors work, trains and coaches team members, and assists Housekeeping staff as needed to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Open, supervise, and close the Housekeeping Department as assigned. Supervise Housekeeping and Laundry team members, providing direction, guidance, and support throughout each shift. Assign daily work, room boards, and special projects to ensure efficient department operations. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with brand standards. Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, training, and corrective action as needed. Assist Housekeepers and Laundry Attendants as necessary to ensure guest needs and operational demands are met. Coordinate staffing schedules and daily assignments to maintain adequate coverage and productivity. Conduct interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and train new team members on departmental procedures and brand standards. Maintain knowledge of all Housekeeping and Laundry functions and serve as a resource for team members. Monitor inventory levels and compile monthly inventories of linens, guest supplies, cleaning products, and other departmental materials. Order housekeeping, laundry, and guest room supplies as needed while maintaining budget expectations. Assist the Management team with departmental budgeting, expense control, and operational planning. Utilize the Housekeeping system and other hotel management software to monitor room status, assign work, and support daily operations. Ensure team members are in compliance with brand and company uniform standards, grooming expectations, and safety requirements. Respond to guest concerns and service requests in a professional and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, guest service, and continuous improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping experience in a hotel, hospitality, or lodging environment required. Previous supervisory, lead, or management experience preferred. Experience training, coaching, and directing team members preferred. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and brand standards preferred. Experience with hotel property management or housekeeping systems. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills required. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday. Ability to inspect guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities while maintaining quality standards. Ability to respond to operational needs in a fast-paced environment
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
Work is performed in guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house locations, and laundry facilities Exposure to cleaning chemicals, detergents, and other housekeeping-related products. Exposure to varying noise levels, including moderate to high noise in laundry and housekeeping work areas. Frequent walking between guest rooms, floors, and hotel areas. May be required to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.
