Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet established cleanliness, quality, and presentation standards. This role supports team leadership, training, and operational execution while promoting a positive work environment and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee daily housekeeping operations and assign tasks to team members Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, quality, and brand standards are met Train, coach, and support team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and guest service expectations Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and coordinate reordering as needed Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily staffing needs Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner Support deep cleaning projects and seasonal cleaning initiatives Foster a positive team environment and address performance or operational concerns Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards Collaborate with other departments to support overall resort operations Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience required; prior supervisory or lead experience preferred Valid U.S. driver's license required Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Ability to lead by example and support a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to safely use cleaning products, equipment, and tools Basic computer skills and ability to learn operational systems Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
