The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for the assigned area and to maintain the housekeeping system to maintain guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure that all assigned areas are clean, safe, sanitary, and attractive to guests.
- Ensure that all rooms are cleaned according to standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Perform routine cleaning of public areas such as restrooms, lobby, common areas, kitchen areas, lobby areas and lobby storage areas.
- Inventory of cleaning supplies and order them in accordance with budgeted expenses.
- Investigate guest satisfaction reports to determine if there are any issues with the guest experience such as room needs or in-room requests for items such as water, coffee or food service and report them to management in a timely manner as required by law or company policy.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required;
- 2+ years of related housekeeping experience required; 4+ years preferred.
