Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Head Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this vital leadership role, you will support the Head Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment for guests and staff alike. Your proactive approach and strong management skills will help foster a welcoming atmosphere, uphold sanitation protocols, and lead a team of dedicated cleaning professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-quality guest experience through meticulous attention to cleanliness and team leadership. Responsibilities Assist the Head Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations across all areas of the property Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, providing clear guidance and support to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation Coordinate cleaning schedules for guest rooms, public spaces, laundry, and specialized areas such as industrial or commercial cleaning zones Conduct regular inspections to verify adherence to sanitation, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, linens, and custodial equipment to optimize resources Enforce safety regulations related to cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and equipment use to maintain a secure working environment Skills Proven experience in custodial services, industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management Strong staff supervision and team management skills with previous supervising experience Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight and customer service interactions Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices Ability to lead teams in commercial cleaning environments with a focus on quality and efficiency Experience with laundry operations and janitorial responsibilities within hospitality settings Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
