Job Description
Lodging One Hospitality, a leader in hotel development, ownership, management and consulting, is currently hiring for a Director of Housekeeping for the newly built Hampton Manhattan Aggieville, scheduled to open in the fall of 2026. You would ultimately be responsible for managing the daily housekeeping operations and leading the back of house team in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability with high regard to standards of cleanliness, quality, and overall guest satisfaction. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards, including but not limited to: Manage daily Housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service, and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, meeting/conference rooms and fitness areas. Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner consistent with Hilton and L1H company standards. Manage daily systems, cost controls, and overall profitability through effective budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and meeting facilitation. Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, training, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward. Oversee and conduct room inspections. Monitor inventory and PAR levels to ensure the adequate and necessary supplies, equipment, linens, and other OS&E items are available. Recruit, interview, and train team members. Teambuilding, leadership and mentoring. Follows all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guests' service needs. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. This is a full-time, salaried (FLSA Exempt) department-head leadership role. Salary based on qualifications and skill set. Qualified candidates will have experience in managing a team of direct reports, superior leadership skills, and the ability to mentor, train, and develop teams!
