Job Description

$750 Hiring Bonus for new Team Members plus $50 in gas gift cards during our onboarding process. Prairie Band Casino & Resort offers an attractive benefits package including medical (casino pays over 70% of premiums), Dental (casino pays 79% of premiums), and Vision. Ensures entire Hotel including guest rooms and public areas are clean and operational. Supports the Executive Housekeeper with his/her responsibilities to attain departmental objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

Supervises, directs, assists, monitors performance and ensures the completion of Housekeeping and Laundry tasks assigned to room attendants, and laundry attendants while maintaining quality and cleanliness standards set forth by the department Responsible for assisting with the hiring and development of personnel while ensuring an adequate level of labor is used to perform the required level of service Understands and administers performance appraisals, sets performance expectations and provides coaching and operational support for Housekeeping and Laundry staff Monitors and controls departmental payroll budget Follows inventory and purchasing procedures in order to maintain budgeted expenses Maintains key control within department Accountable for follow up with department walk throughs, and assignment of special cleaning projects as needed Ensures proper training and requires Team Members to maintain and enhance a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our guests and Team Members Maintains lost and found property ensuring established protocol is followed Perform duties of Room Attendant and Laundry Attendant when necessary Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Required High School diploma or GED Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed Strong leadership and organizational skills Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook Strong verbal and written communication skills

A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment Preferred College Degree

Previous hotel housekeeping experience

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the hotel Must be able to push and lift weight of up to 30 pounds Respond to visual and aural cues Able to lift, bend, walk, reach overhead, kneel, stand and grip items while working at assigned area for long periods of time Must be able to work in areas containing some noise levels and secondary smoke Read, write, speak, and understand English
