They manage staff schedules, conduct room inspections, handle guest requests, and monitor supply inventory.
Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
Create daily shift schedules, assign tasks, and distribute room assignments.
Team Training:
Onboard new staff on hotel cleaning protocols and safety standards.
Quality Inspections:
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to verify they meet brand quality standards.
Inventory Control:
Manage stocks of linens, cleaning supplies, and room amenities, ordering replacements as needed.
Guest Services:
Promptly address and resolve guest complaints or requests regarding housekeeping services.
Maintenance Reporting:
Identify maintenance issues and submit work orders to the engineering or maintenance team.
Performance Monitoring:
Evaluate team performance and provide continuous coaching.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience as a housekeeper, room attendant, or in a lead cleaning role.
Leadership Skills:
Strong ability to delegate tasks, motivate teams, and resolve conflicts.
Time Management:
Excellent organizational skills to handle fast-paced hospitality environments.
Product Knowledge:
Deep understanding of commercial cleaning techniques, chemicals, and safety regulations.
Communication:
