Duties Lead and supervise housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure efficient operations. Oversee cleaning routines across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, offices, and specialized areas such as laundry or industrial cleaning zones. Implement and monitor sanitation procedures aligned with safety regulations to maintain health standards and prevent contamination. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to ensure operational readiness. Enforce safety protocols for staff adherence to OSHA or local safety regulations during cleaning activities. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently and address any deficiencies promptly. Coordinate with other departments or clients to customize cleaning plans that meet specific needs and expectations. Requirements Proven experience in custodial management, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, industrial cleaning methods, and safety regulations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight and customer service interactions. Experience in managing janitorial supplies, laundry operations, and sanitation management systems. Ability to develop and implement cleaning & sanitation management plans tailored to different environments. Prior experience in hospitality or facility management is highly desirable.
