Job Description:
Hospitality Services Group is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Traveling Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team at the historic Colony Hotel in beautiful Kennebunkport, Maine for the remainder of the 2026 season. This is a fast-paced, high-standard hospitality environment. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of resort cleaning standards, and the ability to motivate a dedicated team of housekeepers.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and support the daily operations of the housekeeping staff. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities daily to guarantee the highest level of cleanliness and presentation. Manage inventory, linen distribution, and cleaning supplies. Coordinate daily room assignments and ensure efficient room turnaround times. Work closely with hotel management to handle guest requests or special room requirements promptly.
Requirements:
Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Lead Inspector in a hotel/resort setting is mandatory . Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills. Ability to lift, push, and pull housekeeping equipment and stand/walk for extended periods. Excellent communication and leadership skills (bilingual English/Spanish is a major plus). Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed by the resort schedule.
