Job Summary:

As a Cleaning Supervisor , you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of multiple sites across the Skowhegan area. The Cleaning Supervisor will lead a team of cleaners and ensure that all cleaning activities are done in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. This is a working supervisor role, and you will also participate in the cleaning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff across multiple sites in the Skowhegan area Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and protocols for all assigned sites Train and coach new and existing cleaning staff to ensure proper techniques and procedures are followed Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in proper condition Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations Manage employee schedules, time-off requests, and work assignments Conduct performance reviews and address any performance concerns in a timely manner Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally Complete and submit necessary reports and paperwork to management Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning or janitorial industry Knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and equipment Exceptional organizational and time-management skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Experience managing staff schedules and assignments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to pass a background check and drug test We offer competitive compensation, opportunities for career growth, and a supportive work environment.
