MUST HAVE

a minimum of 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience to be considered. Candidates must reside locally and be ready to assume the role within two weeks of accepting the position. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure rooms and public areas meet brand cleanliness standards. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, managing daily assignments, inspecting rooms, ordering supplies, and maintaining communication with the front desk and maintenance departments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and capable of leading a team to uphold quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise housekeeping staff and daily room assignments Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house for cleanliness and maintenance issues Train and coach housekeeping team on procedures and brand standards Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linen stock Coordinate with front desk and maintenance for timely room readiness and repairs Ensure all safety and sanitation protocols are followed Address guest concerns related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner Create and manage daily/weekly cleaning schedules Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lead, motivate, and delegate tasks effectively Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Proficient in time management and multitasking Knowledge of hotel cleaning standards and OSHA safety regulations Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including weekends
