The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and hygienic. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or leading a team. Duties Open availability especially weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Able to complete housekeeping board and support room inspections as asked by Housekeeping Manager. Leads the department minimum of two days per week and additional days as needed. Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Carry out floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Manage custodial responsibilities effectively, including waste disposal and restocking supplies in restrooms and common areas. Assist in housekeeping management tasks by reporting maintenance issues or supply needs to supervisors. Provide exceptional hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and residents. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and used according to manufacturer guidelines. Skills Ability to encourage team to improve and perform at their best. Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and cleaning products. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and safety standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
