Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
• Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping services
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
• Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
• Address customer complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services
• Collaborate with maintenance team to address any repairs or maintenance issues
• Maintain records and documentation related to housekeeping activities

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of custodial and commercial cleaning practices
• Experience in supervising a team of housekeeping staff
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of laundering procedures for linens and other textiles
