Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, with a focus on floor care and custodial services within hotel or industrial cleaning environments. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively. Responsibilities Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to uphold quality standards in cleanliness and service. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while meeting guest expectations. Address any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance overall guest experience. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory usage, and inspection reports. Qualifications Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Familiarity with hotel operations is preferred but not required.
