The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and extensive knowledge of cleaning standards, floor care, and janitorial practices. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring quality service, and maintaining high cleanliness standards across all areas. Previous hotel experience and a background in hospitality or custodial management are highly desirable to ensure smooth coordination and exceptional guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and workflows to optimize productivity. Address guest requests or complaints promptly and professionally to uphold service excellence. Enforce safety procedures related to industrial cleaning, floor care, and janitorial tasks. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special projects or event setups requiring housekeeping support. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, floor care, janitorial services, or custodial work within a hospitality or institutional setting. Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality management is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial best practices. Familiarity with housekeeping management systems and inventory control. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to train staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
