Job Description
Koniag Advisory Business Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced, dependable, and team-focused Housekeeping Supervisor IV to lead housekeeping and environmental services operations for the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital. This position is covered under the Service Contract Act. We are looking for a confident leader who can support multiple shifts, work closely with other departments, and help keep the housekeeping team running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
Plan daily work assignments and help set team priorities Supervise housekeeping staff across multiple shifts Train, coach, and support team members Provide orientation for new employees and refresher training for current staff Communicate clearly with staff about assignments, expectations, and department goals Work with administration on department needs, employee concerns, and operational challenges Monitor cleaning quality and partner with infection control, nursing, facilities, and other departments as needed Help manage room turnover priorities and communicate delays or urgent needs Coordinate with the linen supplier and review service records and invoices Order supplies, help maintain equipment, and support vendor coordination Assist with schedules, staffing coverage, timecards, and daily shift operations Participate on safety and infection control committees as assigned Help maintain a respectful, service-focused environment that supports the needs of the facility and community
Schedule and Reporting Structure:
Full-time position Shift work required, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Occasional on-call support may be needed during outbreaks or surge situations Supervises housekeepers/EVS technicians across multiple shifts, along with key vendors
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Five+ (5+) years of supervisory or team leadership experience in housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, facilities support, or a related field Ability to organize staff, manage daily operations, and support a busy service environment Willingness to complete required supervisor and infection prevention training during onboarding Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting Knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfection practices, including isolation and terminal cleaning Familiarity with inspections, audits, or quality improvement efforts Relevant environmental services, infection prevention, or healthcare support training
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in management, hospitality, or a related field, or comparable military/technical leadership plus 2+ years of experience CHEST (Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician) CHESP (Certified Health Care Environmental Services Professional) CMIP (Certificate of Mastery in Infection Prevention) Experience supervising multiple shifts and managing high-priority operational needs
Working Conditions:
Hospital environment on Tribal lands; frequent work in occupied patient care areas with sensitive situations. Shift work required (days/evenings/nights), rotating weekends/holidays; occasional extended hours for outbreaks, weather impacts, or surge events. Exposure to chemicals, biohazards, and noise; required use of PPE. Regular walking/standing; frequent interaction with patients, families, and clinical staff.
