The Details Matter As a seasonal Housekeeping Inspector at Showboat, you help keep guest rooms and public areas looking sharp, safe, and ready for fun—every single check.
Key responsibilities:
Visually inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces for cleanliness, presentation, and safety Coach and guide housekeeping team members on standards, cleaning techniques, equipment use, and chemical safety protocols Help with scheduling/forecasting based on occupancy and support smooth daily operations Keep carts, closets, inventory, and supplies organized and stocked; maintain key security Document room status and issues using Microsoft Office and property management systems (PMS); report maintenance needs and track follow-up Required skills/qualifications: Housekeeping operations knowledge, quality inspection experience, and strong attention to detail Clear communication skills and comfort giving/receiving feedback Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs; available for rotating shifts (including weekends/holidays) If you're ready to be the final "looks great!" checkpoint, apply today. Your Shift Snapshot You clock in on the boardwalk, grab the day's room list, and do a quick touch-base with the team before the first wave of check-outs hits. Between inspections, you pop into supply areas to make sure linens and amenities are where they should be (because nobody likes a last-minute scavenger hunt). You'll bounce between floors, updating room status in the system, noting anything that needs a maintenance assist, and keeping the pace steady as arrivals ramp up. Expect friendly radio chatter, quick problem-solving, and lots of "one more look" moments to make sure everything feels guest-ready. By shift's end, you've helped set up a smooth handoff for the next crew—mission accomplished.
