Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Room Inspector to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure that guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, organization, and overall condition Identify and address maintenance issues or deficiencies promptly to ensure guest comfort and safety Ensure all cleaning procedures are followed according to established standards using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Monitor floor care activities, including carpet cleaning, polishing, and waxing, to maintain a polished appearance throughout the property Collaborate with housekeeping staff to prioritize tasks and improve overall efficiency in room turnover processes Document inspection results accurately and communicate any discrepancies or repairs needed to management Uphold health and safety regulations by ensuring proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment while maintaining a safe environment for staff and guests Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hospitality or hotel setting Strong knowledge of floor care techniques such as carpet extraction, polishing, waxing, and tile maintenance Familiarity with hotel operations, standards, and guest service expectations Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they impact guest experience Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple inspections in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting findings clearly Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and housekeeping management practices is highly desirable Join us in delivering outstanding cleanliness and comfort that makes every guest's stay memorable!
