Housekeeping Inspector Syracuse Grand Liverpool, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16.75 - $17.00 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Guest relations Customer service Attention to detail Hotel room cleaning Safety equipment Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Housekeeping Inspector to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our hospitality environment. In this vital role, you will oversee the quality of housekeeping services, conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, and ensure compliance with brand standards and health regulations. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming, spotless atmosphere that delights guests and maintains our reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead quality assurance efforts in a dynamic hospitality setting, ensuring every detail meets our rigorous standards. Duties Checks all vacant clean rooms each day scheduled to ensure 100% cleanliness for rooms ready to rent. Slower days cleans 5-6 rooms that will be deep cleaned at the same them. Then conduct room inspections and public space checks for the rest of the day. Corrects and documents all issues found with cleanliness in guestrooms and public spaces. Supervises and inspects the work of the room attendants, ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and attractive appearance of guest rooms and public spaces. Updates the front desk when rooms are clean, vacant, and ready for occupancy. Creates a service environment focused on the guest, with a passion for high standards in all work performed. Responds promptly to customer needs. Ensures housekeepers have the proper and necessary equipment and supplies. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and develops alternative solutions. Reports needed repairs to maintenance. Instructs and trains new room attendants and evaluates their performance. Performs room attendant, house person, laundry duties, when required. Performs other duties as assigned. Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) program, when scheduled to. Always use safety glasses and nitrile gloves when using chemicals. Ensure all staff members are as well.
