Full Job Description Housekeeping Supervisor Job Summary:

Grafton Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Dayton, OH. As a key member of our custodial staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients and residents. Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the housekeeping team, providing guidance and training to ensure effective cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, common areas, and facilities Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure a high level of cleanliness and compliance with infection control guidelines Conduct regular inspections of patient rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and supply usage Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth operation and address any issues or concerns Ensure all housekeeping staff receive proper training on infection control, fire safety, and other necessary procedures Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

0+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related field Strong leadership and supervision skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
