Job Overview We are seeking an Full-Time energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning teams at Tolovana Inn and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness across our properties. In this vital role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, coordinate staff activities, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Your leadership will directly impact guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness standards, safety protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, heavy lifting techniques, and custodial equipment operation Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and janitorial equipment, ensuring proper manual handling and storage Enforce health and safety regulations related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and the use of PPE during all cleaning activities Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels for commercial cleaning needs while maintaining high-quality service Address guest or staff concerns promptly to resolve issues efficiently and maintain a positive work environment Experience Proven custodial or janitorial experience in a supervisory role within a hospitality or commercial setting Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures including PPE use Experience with heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of cleaning supplies or furniture Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Familiarity with commercial cleaning products, tools, and custodial best practices Join us to lead a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards!
