Housekeeping Supervisor
Location:

PENN STATE HEALTH LANCASTER MEDICAL CENTER
Workdays/shifts :
 Afternoon/evenings - varying days and rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview process.

What You'll Do:
As a Facilities Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You may work in any type of facilities location on client premises.
Responsibilities include:
Staff Management:
Interview, onboard, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff. Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to assign tasks and manage performance
Infection Control & Sanitation:
Enforce adherence to healthcare guidelines regarding biohazardous waste, infectious waste (Red Biohazard bags), and safe handling of chemicals/bloodborne pathogens.
Patient & Visitor Relations:
Respond to emergency spill requests, patient concerns, and ensure a comfortable environment for all hospital occupants
Quality Assurance:
Conduct routine floor and room inspections to ensure high-touch areas, patient rooms, and common spaces meet rigorous hospital cleanliness standards
Experience:
Highly prefers 2-5 years of janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting, with proven leadership or supervisory skills.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of hospital cleaning best practices, bloodborne pathogens, and OSHA regulations.
Skills:
Strong communication, time-management, and conflict resolution skills
Pay:
From $23.00 per hour
