This role conducts detailed inspections, provides guidance and coaching to housekeeping staff, and works closely with the housekeeping management team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Inspect guest rooms after cleaning to ensure they meet company standards. Verify that rooms are clean, properly stocked, and ready for guest arrival. Inspect public areas for cleanliness and maintenance needed. Identify housekeeping deficiencies and ensure corrective action is completed promptly. Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the management department for timely repairs. Monitor inventory of guest room amenities, linens, and cleaning supplies. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate daily room status updates. Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns professionally. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment required. Prior supervisory or inspection experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with property management systems is a plus. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Thorough understanding of housekeeping procedures and hotel cleanliness standards. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and train team members. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Commitment to providing outstanding guest service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Schedule Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as business needs require. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Ability to inspect multiple floors and rooms throughout the shift. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions while maintaining safety standards.
