The primary purpose of this role is to implement and oversee housekeeping procedures in an efficient and cost-effective manner while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Ensure the community and department are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner Maintain adequate levels of supplies, disinfectants, and equipment to support operations Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining infection control, waste disposal, and Universal Precautions policies and procedures Conduct weekly inspections of environmental services functions to ensure quality standards are met Supervise laundry operations, including washer and dryer use and linen processing Oversee proper linen handling and distribution in accordance with community policies and resident rights Ensure all resident clothing is cleaned, folded, repaired, and returned appropriately Monitor departmental performance and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in a supervisory role Previous experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred Basic computer knowledge desirable Must be 18 years of age or older Benefits We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including: Competitive Rates Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Group Health Medical Insurance Life Insurance (including options for spouse and dependents) Employer-Paid Life Insurance Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, and Accident Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Holiday Pay Options Career Development Opportunities Flexible Schedules Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Education Assistance - New Benefit Up to $5,250 per year toward tuition• Up to $2,625 per year toward repayment of a non-federal nursing student loan• Benefits, bonuses, and variable compensation plans are based on applicable state law and may vary based on employment classification, job grade, location, and length of service.
