Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented working Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities. Duties You will have a cleaning route of your own as well Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple areas, including offices, restrooms, floors, windows, and specialized spaces such as laundry rooms or kitchens. Assign tasks to cleaning staff based on priority and skill level, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently and to standard. Conduct inspections of work completed to verify quality, sanitation standards, and adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Oversee the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor care machines, and window cleaning tools. Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling procedures, infection control measures, and safe manual handling practices. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, PPE, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations. Promote a culture of safety by enforcing health regulations related to chemical handling, sanitation standards, and heavy lifting procedures. Support the implementation of sanitation protocols for infection control in high-touch areas and during health crises. Ensure compliance with environmental health standards by maintaining accurate records of cleaning activities and safety inspections. The ideals candidate will also be responsible for covering cleaning route when employees call of, are on pto etc. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and equipment operation. Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred; capable of motivating staff and managing schedules effectively. Knowledge of window cleaning techniques, pressure washing, floor care (such as buffing or stripping), and laundry services is highly desirable. Familiarity with chemical handling regulations, sanitation standards, and infection control practices. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while adhering to health guidelines. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards team collaboration and client interactions. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inspecting work quality and maintaining records. Physical stamina for standing long periods, climbing ladders for window washing, or performing other physically demanding tasks required for the role.
