Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is hiring a Full-time Supervisor, Environmental Services.
Hours/Shift:
Full-time Day Shift. The Environmental Services Team Coordinator assists the manager in planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and controlling the activities of the department functions which are necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Participate in the work activities of assigned teams through providing assistance, serving as technical resource and participating in the work as a member of the team. Contributes to the success of the department through effective work coordination, management of resources, and participation in goal accomplishment. Support and communicates Sentara mission, values, goals, and directions to assigned team members. Some College is preferred. 2+ years supervisory experience preferred. CHEST certification required for all existing staff by 7/31/2019. New employees hired after 8/1/2016 required to have CHEST within 2 years of hire. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Some College (Preferred) Experience 1 Year Supervisory Experience (Required), 2 Years Supervisory Experience (Preferred) Environmental/Service Associate/Hospitality Experience (Preferred) Microsoft Office Skills (Preferred)
