This position is Monday through Friday full time This is a working supervisor role
Position Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner
Posted Salary Range:
USD $20.00
  • USD $24.
00 /Hr.
Wage Commensuration:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise the following tasks: mop & sweep floors of hallways/common areas, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets, arrange furniture, etc., generally clean furniture, equipment, fixtures and hardware, and laundry Ensure that work areas are clean and that equipment and tools are properly stored and cleaning supplies are locked at all times Ensures that all housekeeping staff follows all safety guidelines in accordance with facility policy as well as State, Federal, and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must possess at minimum a High School Education or equivalent G.E.D Must have reliable transportation Must have 3+ years of successful supervisory experience Must have housekeeping experience; preferably in a long term care or skilled nursing facility Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language Must have reliable transportation
