• Dyersburg, TN Full-Time M-F | Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping/Laundry Director to lead and manage our facility's housekeeping and laundry operations in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to supervise a team while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in housekeeping or environmental services, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment. Previous supervisory or management experience. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lead by example and inspire a high-performing team. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry operations throughout the facility, including resident rooms and common areas. Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health and safety regulations. Ensure all equipment is clean, properly maintained, and in safe working condition. Supervise, train, and provide leadership to housekeeping and laundry staff. Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage. Monitor performance and provide coaching to team members as needed. Manage inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies; place orders as necessary. Ensure timely removal of trash and soiled linens; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Collaborate with other department heads to support overall facility operations and resident satisfaction. Promote teamwork, strong work ethics, and a customer-service-driven culture.
