In this vital role, you will oversee the quality of housekeeping services, ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols, and promote a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. Your proactive approach will help maintain pristine guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, contributing to an exceptional guest experience and the smooth operation of our facility. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to verify cleanliness, safety, and adherence to hotel standards. Identify areas needing attention or improvement and communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to address deficiencies promptly. Ensure all cleaning procedures are performed according to established protocols, including floor care, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal. Monitor and evaluate the quality of janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment. Maintain detailed records of inspections, deficiencies found, corrective actions taken, and follow-up schedules. Collaborate with housekeeping management to develop training programs that enhance team performance and consistency. Promote a culture of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality by setting a positive example and providing constructive feedback. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards for cleanliness and guest service. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify issues quickly during inspections. Effective communication skills for coordinating with housekeeping teams and management. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Leadership qualities suited for housekeeper management roles or supervising cleaning staff.
