Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our dedicated housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards across our hospitality facility. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with safety and hygiene protocols, and motivate staff to maintain a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. Your leadership will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of hotel housekeeping management, fostering a safe and efficient workplace, and enhancing guest satisfaction through impeccable cleanliness. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including floor cleaning, vacuuming, and sanitation procedures to ensure consistent quality. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, use of cleaning equipment, chemical handling, and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance. Monitor the proper handling and storage of chemical agents used for cleaning and floor care to ensure safety and environmental standards are met. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, janitorial equipment, and chemical agents while ensuring proper manual handling practices for heavy lifting or industrial cleaning tasks. Enforce hotel emergency procedures related to sanitation hazards or safety incidents promptly and effectively. Promote a culture of excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns related to cleanliness swiftly and professionally. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial experience within hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, chemical handling, sanitation practices, and industrial cleaning methods. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling guidelines. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive approach to guest satisfaction. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and hotel housekeeping standards is preferred.
