Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead and manage our housekeeping team. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of cleaning operations, ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining efficient workflows. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks across all areas of the property. Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to uphold quality standards and promote a positive team environment. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that maximize efficiency while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational readiness. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met or exceeded. Manage guest requests related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally, resolving issues to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management to develop budgets, set performance goals, and implement process improvements for housekeeping operations. Qualifications Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or janitorial services within a hospitality or commercial setting. Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team. Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, custodial procedures, and safety protocols. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated leadership in managing inventories, scheduling staff, and overseeing quality control measures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and interact professionally with guests and management. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and performing detailed cleaning duties.
