Housekeeping Inspector Hotel Indigo Spokane - 2.0 Spokane, WA Job Details Part-time From $17.75 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Operations management Floor cleaning Attention to detail Laundry Leadership Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our hospitality environment. In this vital role, you will lead the inspection team, ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities meet rigorous quality benchmarks. Your energetic approach and keen eye for detail will drive continuous improvement, fostering a welcoming and pristine atmosphere for our guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while maintaining exceptional standards across all housekeeping operations. This position encompasses two of our large volume mornings, (Sun and Mon), working in rooms as well as laundry. It also covers the two days off of our Housekeeping Manager, which is Tuesday and Wednesday each week. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation. Supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards. Manage daily inspection schedules, prioritizing tasks to meet operational deadlines efficiently. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions promptly to uphold brand standards. Oversee janitorial activities, including cleaning routines, laundry services, and custodial tasks, ensuring they are performed to the highest quality. Maintain detailed records of inspections, deficiencies, and corrective measures taken for accountability and reporting purposes. Collaborate with management to develop training programs focused on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service excellence. Experience Proven supervising or management experience in housekeeping or janitorial services within a hotel or hospitality setting. Extensive background in cleaning, custodial work, or commercial cleaning environments. Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, including laundry management and guest service standards. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Familiarity with hospitality industry best practices and safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality management roles is highly desirable.
