• Duties
• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks.
• Lead and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols.
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to ensure smooth operations
• Address guest requests or concerns promptly to uphold excellent service quality
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
• Clean rooms if needed.
• Qualifications
• Ability to strategize ideas at the last moment
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial cleaning environments
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and custodial standards
• Must be able to inspect 50-80 guest rooms per day
• Experience managing teams and coordinating daily operations efficiently
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
• Previous management experience in housekeeping management is preferred.
