Manages daily operations of the department responsible for providing environmental services, ensuring alignment of operations with organizational objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR
LICENSURE
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
1.Five (5) year of housekeeping experience with three (3) year previous supervisory duties.

LICENSURE
1. Associates degree.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Establishes and maintains high expectations for cleanliness and ensure all job assignments are completed while conforming to standards. 2. Develops housekeeping staff through hiring, training, performance management, employee relations, and coaching. 3. Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for cleaning of the building to maintain high expectations for facility cleanliness. 4. Investigates and addresses escalated complaints regarding poor housekeeping service. 5. Maintains relationships with external vendors and internal departments.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have physical ability to perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, reaching and bending and operating floor equipment such as vacuum cleaners, autoscrubbers, buffers, etc. 2. Must meet Department of Labor's Heavy Duty Standard. 3. Capable of wearing appropriate PPE for an extended period of time

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Ability to be scheduled for work based on operational needs of the hospital. 2. Possesses the ability to deal tactfully and harmoniously with guests. 3. Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of assigned areas, necessary supplies and equipment 4. Must be able to read and follow written work assignments.
Additional Job Description:
This positions covers two WVUM properties; Summersville Regional Medical Center and Braxton County Memorial Hospital. Frequent travel between locations required. Mileage will be paid.
