Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
: Environmental Services Techs are responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and laundry duties in designated areas of the hospital as well as offsite locations. Environmental Services Techs are also responsible for the removal of trash, dirty linen, sharps containers and taking them to the appropriate storage area; sweeping, mopping and vacuuming the warehouse, hallways, stairs, restrooms, and office spaces.
REQUIREMENTS
: High School Diploma or GED. This per diem position is part of the Day POD. You may be asked to work an 8-hour shift from 7am to 3:30pm; from 8am to 4:30pm; from 9am to 5:30pm; or from 11am to 7:30pm depending on need. Starting pay is 18.03/hr - $20.61/hr depending on experience. This position is eligible to receive the Per Diem rate, which includes 12% on top of your base rate of pay. Additional compensation is also available for night and weekend shifts. This position is not eligible for benefits including health insurance and paid time off.
