Job Description

Role Description The Janitor/Custodian role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and professional appearance of the Three Bears Alaska corporate headquarters. This role ensures a safe and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors by performing routine and detailed cleaning tasks.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Clean & maintain offices, break rooms, meeting rooms and restrooms using established cleaning techniques such as sweeping, mopping, spraying & wiping surfaces. Adhere to company-established cleaning procedures and a high cleanliness standard while performing duties. Proactively identify areas that may require additional attention and take initiative to ensure cleanliness throughout the facility. Monitor janitorial supply levels, report low stock, and restock supplies as needed to maintain operations. Empty and dispose of trash from designated areas throughout the building. Maintain building sidewalk by performing tasks such as snow and ice removal, litter pickup, and general janitorial maintenance. Daily operate, maintain and troubleshoot in-office equipment such as; coffee, popcorn, and ice cream machines. Drive personal vehicles as needed to purchase supplies, parts, or materials for janitorial projects. Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to team members and customers. Assist with setup and cleanup for company events, meetings, and special activities. Prioritize safety at all times, respond promptly to emergency situations, such as spills or accidents, and follow all safety protocols. Assists in other departments of the store as necessary. Performs other functions as necessary or assigned.
Experience/Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Janitorial experience preferred. Company Description Three Bears Alaska is a family-owned chain of Alaskan grocery stores with so much more. Holiday Pay Pay Range:
Starting at $15.00/hr. (DOE)
Schedule:
Part-time Full-time Evening, Weekends and Holidays are required.

In person Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Working Environment Work is performed in a store setting with ability to speak and receive phone communications often. Work requires computer usage with strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment. Continuously standing, walking, reaching at/below shoulders, frequently lift/carry up to 20 pounds below waist, up to 50 pounds at waist/chest and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
